Thin Mint has been calling roller derby action since 2010, developing a reputation for sharp play-by-play, warm crowd connection, and deep knowledge of the sport across hundreds of games. From early days announcing for Acadiana Good Times Rollers (now Acadiana Roller Derby) in Louisiana to becoming a fixture at events across the Mid-South, West Coast, and beyond, Thin Mint has built a career that blends broadcast professionalism with derby’s signature DIY spirit. Their work spans house announcing, streaming commentary, international fixtures, and specialty mashups—from the Star Wars vs. Star Trek bout at RollerCon to high-profile All-Star matchups in California, Colorado, Austria, and Australia.

In recent years, Thin Mint’s portfolio has expanded significantly into tournament and multi-day event coverage, including major invitational weekends like Southern Belle Ringer, People’s Battle of Richmond, CHIdra of the Corn’s Halloween Classic, No Borders, and the Y’Allstars Tournament in Thibodaux, where they have become a recurring voice across multiple years and dozens of games. Their growing presence on international streams—including Vienna Roller Derby, Santa Cruz vs. Gotham, and Team Philippines fixtures—has positioned them as a versatile, reliable announcer trusted to handle complex schedules, high-stakes matchups, and diverse rosters.

Most notably, Thin Mint entered the WFTDA postseason in 2024 as part of the broadcast and house crew for WFTDA Regionals — North America South in Austin, covering Tampa, Columbia Quad Squad, Red Stick, Texas Rollergirls, Dallas, and Chattanooga. They then continued their postseason contribution at the highest stage of the sport as a producer for WFTDA Global Champs in Portland, where they supported the announcer team by tracking highlights, pulling real-time stats, and ensuring seamless on-air storytelling. These roles capped off a year of rapid expansion in their announcing and production résumé and affirmed their place among the sport’s rising voices—an announcer trusted on big stages, known for preparation, clarity, and a genuine love of derby.
